The social hour in the garden was a lovely touch, allowing us to connect with other guests while enjoying a local wine. Amanda, the new owner, made our stay personal with her warm hospitality, providing tips on local attractions and routes to explore. However, the room lacked air conditioning, which made it a bit warm, despite the fan and open window. The stairs to our room were steep, requiring caution with luggage. Overall, it was a memorable experience with room for some upgrades.

The location is fantastic, nestled in a beautifully restored village, where we enjoyed walks filled with charming architecture. The garden's seating area was perfect for our family, with plenty of space for the kids to play. My stay was fantastic, especially in the Harbour Suite, which was cozy and beautifully furnished. Pat and David really excel at creating a welcoming environment, and their attention to detail shines in the delicious breakfasts. I particularly loved the variety offered each morning. The private garden was an excellent spot to unwind after a day of exploring Shelburne's historic charm. One thing to note is that while the inn is lovely, some rooms might be a bit noisy if the guests upstairs are active during the night.
